Bynder is a leading company in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) space.
At Bynder I have worked in various teams on different projects.
Most projects are core services, such as:
- Improving uploads and related processes (for example: conversions, metadata extraction)
- Improving auditing tools within the platform
- Improving the storage of assets to maximize performance and unlock new capabilities in the asset bank

The Job:
Simgroep, these days known as Shift2, builds front-office systems for local governments.
I contributed to several projects:
- CMS
- Software for creating and publishing the local council's agendas.
- A drag-and-drop form-building system with support for payments and DigiD (a Dutch identity system), and more.
Personal achievements:
- Became team lead in 2014.
- A member of the team who constructed the core values of the company.
- A member of the architecture team.
- Organized an in-house workshop with Mathias Verraes.
- Organized multiple hackathons.

After graduation, I started working as a freelance web developer.
I built websites and print materials (flyers, business cards)
for several clients.

- Built my own PHP framework (don't do that!).
- Created flyers, gift cards, and other types of print work.
- Built websites for several customers.
- Learned the hard way that saying no is important.
- Gained lots of experience with Linux.

The Job:
Inventeers is an engineering company that builds hardware, software, and network management solutions.
My focus during my internships and my part-time job was building websites for small companies.
